What is digital smile design?
Digital Smile Design is a dental technology that uses computer imaging and design software to create a customised smile makeover plan for each patient. DSD is a highly advanced technique that enables us to analyse, design, and simulate your desired smile before any dental work is performed.

The process involves taking digital images and videos of your teeth, mouth, and face. This information is then analysed and manipulated using specialised software to create a virtual 3D model of your smile. We can then use this model to show you how your smile will look after various dental procedures, such as teeth whitening, bonding, veneers, or orthodontic treatment.
3D Digital Scanning
Intraoral scanning is a dental technology that uses a handheld device to create a 3D digital image of your teeth and gums. The scanner captures images of the teeth and gums from various angles, which are then used to create a highly detailed digital model of the mouth.

3D scanning is painless and non-invasive, and does not require the use of messy dental impressions! The images captured by the scanner can be used to diagnose dental problems, plan treatments, and create custom dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, and aligners.
